He have laminate wood flooring. It was put in new before we moved in (we rent), and I thought it was gorgeous. Now I hate it because it's not very durable, and I can't seem to get stains out. To clean, I vacuum up all the dirt/dust, and then I'll Swiffer it with a wet cloth.
I use Bona on the hardwood with a removable pad on my mop that I can wash in the washing machine (a little more economical than the disposable swiffers). Like this one.
I will have to figure something out since I have hardwood and four dogs!!! Right now I vacuum and then use the shark mop (steam). The problem is, the floors get dirty by the end of the day and I'm not going to have the time and energy to mop every stinking day. A little dirt never hurt anyone, right??

That is kind of why I was asking....only I have two cats and the only floor space available is under or near furniture or in a high traffic walkway. So lots of fur bunnies blowing around and lots of grit from shoes and barefeet on the floor
