Amber teething necklace

Does anyone use one? Does it help? Where did you get yours?

A is teething and is so upset sometimes, but I don't really want to give her meds because the crankiness is so sporadic. I have heard that amber necklaces help and I'll give it a try if its worth it! Thanks ladies!

We have one for J. A group of us from my moms group got them at amber.izon. We did a wholesale lot and each paid $10/each. Retail necklaces run around $20-25.

Her drooling went down a lot. I have no idea if it is making her pain go away, but she is less drooly and less fussy. Many people I know swear by them. I'm afraid to take off in case it is really, really working!

I'm a believer! We were skeptical. E cried for 24 straight hours with her first tooth. Then we got a necklace from inspired by Finn. We didn't even notice when the next tooth came in! I bought one for all of E's cousins.

We have two for J. One is raw and the other is semi-polished. I put one on him right around 3 months and we only take it off for bath time and then it goes right back on.

He seems to drool less and doesn't seem so fussy even though he chews on everthing he can get his hands on. I ordered mine through a co-op but several people I know have gotten theirs from Inspired by Finn.

Yes, I got them for both of my girls and they seem to help! My sister used them for her kids, and she never had problems with teething, so she recommended them to me. One of my girls seems to have a bit more pain than the other, but nothing terrible! I just ordered them on Amazon.

I'm like you and don't want to pump my kids with meds, but a friend of mine also recommended Hyland's Teething Drops... they're natural and I picked them up just yesterday and noticed a difference. I will try to stick with those during the day, but I will give the girls some baby tylenol before bed so they can get a good night sleep. Last night was the first night in over a week that they slept the whole night through so I think I found a god routine!

Thanks ladies! I am going to order one! A pharmacist friend of mine gave me a mini baby medicine pharmacy and she included the Hylands teething tabs. I tried them last evening and she was noticeably less fussy.

They don't chew the necklace. It fits like a loose choker would. Raw amber contains succinic acid which helps relieve inflammation and pain. Wearing the necklace is supposed to help make teething less miserable :-)
