Willam and Nora are here!

I haven't had a chance to get on tb since William and Nora were born on 7/31. Life has been busy, but oh so wonderful!! William and Nora were born at 37w3d via c-section. I was called in the day before for suspected pre eclampsia and 24 hr tests. It was decided to go forward with c-section the next day. William was 6lb11oz and 18.5". Nora was 5lb12oz and 18". We were in the hospital until Sat, 8/3, but the twins never left my side. They have been doing great. They dropped 12% in weight so we are supplementing along with nursing. We are just trying to figure out this whole nursing twins thing and trying to build up my supply. I'm so in love and couldn't feel more blessed!

    TTC #3 (#1 for DH) since September 2011. DX: Unexplained infertility with possible cervical factor. May 2012 did clomid with IUI - BFN August 2012 IUI #2 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN September 2012 IUI #3 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN October 2012 IUI #4 w/ follistim/letrozole - BFN November/December 2012 IVF/ICSI #1 Retrieved 12 eggs, 8 fertilized. Transferred 1 beautiful embryo and 5 made it to freeze. Got my BFP! January 2013 u/s showed empty gestational sac. FET cycle April 2013.  Transferred 2 5 day embryos.  BFP!!!!!  2 heartbeats!!!!  EDD:  12/27/13

Trying to find a good balance/routine for them plus my 3 year old!  He is struggling a bit with it, but everyday seems to get a little better.  The boys are just now starting to become more alert and let us know if they are upset or hungry.  Logan likes to be held all day and Kaden is very laid back.  It is so amazing to finally see them on the outside and have two babies at once.  It was worth absolutely everything and I would do it a thousand times over!!

    How have you all been doing since you got home?

    I'm glad to hear things are going well! Things are pretty good this way as well. We are working on nursing. It has been tough since my milk has been slow to come in. Willam struggles with latching as well and gets frustrated. It can be overwhelming. I'm so in love with these two!
