I highly recommend the cilantro jalapeño hummus (Wegmans brand). I actually hate jalapeños, but tried this at a party this weekend, and had to run and get my own!!
I have Wegmans and my DD LOVES hummus. I noticed last week they had several new flavors. My H says the chipotle is pretty spicy. He might like that one. Thanks for the recommendation!
Yum... I've been wanting some tasty hummus and will have to grab some of this at my next Wegman's trip.
The saddest thing for me about moving to our new house is that we are now 20 minutes away from Wegman's instead of 5.
This is a consideration every time we move. If we moved to a city without a Wegmans I would seriously be upset. Between prices, selection, and service, I just don't go to any other grocer.

I used to laugh at people who said stuff like this, and then we got a Wegmans.
I get it now, y'all.

That sounds delicious. We don't frequent weggies but I'm putting that on my list. I have a coup for some gelato that our local stores don't carry so I'm due for a trip to the fancy Wegmans soon.

No idea what Wegman's even is....I'm guessing a grocery store? But they have that hummus at Trader Joe's too and it's so good. Although, oddly, during this pregnancy I don't like anything spicy and I normally love spicy food.
@nbbride06 Wegmans is a truly superb grocery store. Their selection and variety are outstanding. Their store brand quality is top notch. There are only a couple of things that I actually buy name brand, and right now I can only think of JIF peanut butter. Everything else in my kitchen is Wegmans brand. Their prices are excellent and their staff is helpful and well trained. It's just a wonderful experience.
@PreDempsey, I need to know how far away you are from your closest Wegmans before I comment on your comment.

Thanks. Now I know. Sounds a bit like Trader Joe's then. I buy all of their store brand stuff too. Almost the whole store is store brand. I buy very little name brand too.
I love love love Wegmans. The nearest one is a good hour and 30 mins from us and I've been known to drag DH on roadtrips involving Wegmans. I think he secretly loves it
The last month or so my food craving has been a Wegmans tuna sub on everything roll with provolone and mustard and relish with salt and vinegar chips... Mmm. My husband works for Wegmans though so he rarely likes to go for a lunch trip! Party pooper.
It is curious to me why Wegmans is not your grocery store of choice then. Most everyone who has a Wegmans loves it, so I am surprised to see it's not where you do the bulk of your shopping. Just curious and nosy. Mostly nosy. And I love my Wegmans.

H and I are severe bargain shoppers. We shop weekly between Pricerite, Walmart, and sometimes Sams Club. I grew up on Wegman's but didn't have it while I was away at college so I weaned myself off of it. The produce we get at the other stores doesn't hold a candle to Wegman's, so I miss it sometimes and visit for specialty items.

No Wegmans in Cali so when we went home to visit my parents in Philly, I went 3 times in 5 days. I miss it so much! We don't really have anything that compares out here...
