please help. losing my mind

i have a 21 month old son, and for the past month he keeps taking his pants and diaper off. we started 3 day potty training today, but during naptime he took off his pull ups and smeared poop EVERYWHERE. hes been doing this a lot more for the past week. any ideas on how i can stop this peeing and pooping everywhere would be helpful. i dont know what else to do.

I don't know if this is a good suggestion since you're potty training, but if you weren't I'd say try to put the diaper on backwards or try a diaper cover with snaps.

No pull ups for naps and maybe what pps suggested putting the diaper on backwards and onesie?

If he's doing well potty training all other times it sounds like he may just get bored in the crib. To him poop is something cool to play with and he knows he doesn't like a diaper on. A sign that he is ready to train. I would put a onsie on and put a toy or two in the crib to occupy him before you realize he's awake.

If this only happens at nap time, I would put diaper on backwards and onesie. Good luck!
