I just saw that Jimmy Fallon is going to be on the Today show Tuesday talking about IF. It's cool to see a male celebrity talking about IF.

    Cool!! I wasn't aware he was struggling with IF. Can't wait to watch!

    I saw an article the other day about everything he and his wife had to go through and then ultimately what got them their baby. It is so neat to see it from a male's perspective and more celebrities being open.

    Thank you so much for posting this! It makes me so happy to see celebrities - especially a male celebrity - being open about IF. I will definitely TiVo so I can watch!

    Good to know! I read an article that they used a surrogate but I'd love to hear the backstory.
    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    Awesome.  There are so many people that hide their infertility but if they came out of the closet they would actually realize it's not so abnormal.   Happy for Jimmy Fallon, his wife and baby Winnie.

    Good for him being so open. Wouldn't it be amazing if a male celebrity were open about his own fertility issues. I would love to see a well known athlete talk about having azoospermia.

    TTC since June 2011
    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    I will have to set my DVR, too! 

    It annoys me to no end when stars are in their mid to late 40's and deny having medical intervention to conceive.  Just be honest!  Denying it just further perpetuates wrong beliefs.  I can't count the number of women I know who think that women are fertile up until they quit having their periods - aka basically until their 50's.  In reality, a woman's ability to conceive really tanks after about 43-44 and, even if she does conceive with her OE, the chances of a m/c or a chromosomal abnormality are great.  

    IF DX: DOR & Fragile X pre-mutation carrier
    2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
    BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
    Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
    BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014
