annoying yet?

Is anyone getting annoyed by their LOs kicks? I do love to feel him moving around, but sometimes the kicks are so intense that it nauseates me. The physical feeling is not at all enjoyable to me. And I feel like a shitty mother for wishing my 22 week old would just calm down. I should beovercome with joy every time i feel him flutter.

Re: annoying yet?

  • Mine don't make me nauseas yet but I def vomitted a few times with my first pregnancy from his movement. Not looking forward to that happening again

  • I get up and walk around a little if it's distracting -- puts the LO right back to sleep.  Doesn't make me nauseated, but sometimes is just really distracting when I'm on a conference call or something.

  • Not in a way annoyed but she moves so much she is giving me bruises. I'm not looking forward to when she is big enough to play in my rib cage

  • I wouldn't say annoyed, but I think the joy has worn off a little. It's funny b/c sometimes when I say "ow!" (not that it really hurts, but it's surprising), my husband is like "awww." I'm not sure he'd aww quite so much if he was getting poked!

I still overall like feeling the movements though. And mine don't really hurt.

  • The only time I wish she'd calm down a bit is when she kicks me in the crotch. Otherwise I'm still enjoying it... although, if I were getting nauseous, I'd probably feel differently.

it gets a little bit annoying when my LO is kicking up a storm when i'm really tired and all i wanna do is sleep. but other than that,i just put my hand on my belly and enjoy the "dance".
  • Nope. I'm loving it! She's always kicking my bladder but I know she is healthy and kicking :)
  • I am a miserable pregnant but one of the things that can always make me smile is feeling the little one move around.  I actually felt the first kick on the outside today.  Hopefully, DH will be awake and able to feel it next time.  I probably won't be singing the same tune when baby is bigger and dancing on my bladder or kicking me in the ribs.
  • Oh i love his superman kicks
  • My only issue is when he kicks my cervix and I get the lightning bolt. It got really painful in the late third tri with my 1st and I have a feeling this little one is on his way to hurting me like that.

  • I just felt his first kick on Friday evening, so I'm still in anticipation mode and want to feel more.

  • I am jealous that you are feeling anything at all......I have still felt nothing.  :(

(I can see how constant movement or kicks in the 'wrong' place would be a bit of a PITA though.)

  • No way. That's the best thing about being pregnant so far! Love feeling him moving however uncomfortable it is for me. It's reassuring :)
  • No, I'm PGAL. Every kick is reassuring.

  • I am so far behind everyone else that I’m just getting to the point where I can feel anything at all!  I love it so far but again, they are only tiny little kicks and pokes at this point.

This :) No judgement though, it just really helps ease my PgAL brain to feel him moving around in there, the more active the better.

  • Just wait! This is only the beginning of baby kicks! DS's kicks this time around are so much stronger so much earlier off than DD's were, so I'm thinking it might be a little more interesting this time around, haha.

  • It's not annoying but sometimes I catch myself thinking "ok, stop for a little bit!"

  • I love it! It makes me smile.
  • Not annoyed. Even when my DD flipped herself at 37 weeks I wasn't annoyed. That is one of the best parts of pregnancy IMO and makes me happy each time. Hopefully you'll get used to it, which you probably will.

  • The kicks don't annoy me but something my son did later on drove me nuts.  I remember later in the 3rd tri it used to feel like he was scratching my right hip bone with his fingernails.  I obviously don't know what was actually going on in there but it was like nails on a chalkboard.  Towards the end he did it constantly.

  • LOL, yes. I like the kicks on my belly, but the cervix/organ kicks are getting OLD.

  • Braxton Hicks and lightning crotch were way more annoying

  • I wish I was getting more feeling. With DS at this point I was constantly feeling movement. I am still only feeling this baby every few days. DH hasn't even felt the baby yet. I'm always freaked out when I haven't felt him in awhile, like right now. It's been about 2 days.
