Hey everyone, sorry if this is a little late...I wanted to post and get to know everyone a little bit more before I posted my birth story even though I posted an introduction. Nothing is worse then some rando looking for congrats on a baby no one knows about.
Harper Orion was born on July 16 at 10:57pm (due July 28) after 23 hours of labor, 45 minutes of pushing, getting stuck in construction traffic in my tourist town, going drug free, apologizing every time I yelled at poor SO or my sister, calling the delivery Dr. Sir the entire time, and screaming holy effing shiz balls (unedited of course) cracking the whole room up. Needless to say, everyone was having a ton of fun in L and D except for me

The moment we found out the EDD my SO said he was coming July 17, he even took the week off of work...He is convinced that I pushed him out as fast as I could so he wouldn't have bragging rights forever (half true, but I also wanted that kid out!)
Harper was 5 pounds 11 ounces and was 18 inches long...such a little peanut (at 3 weeks he is a whopping 9 pounds.) We are EBF and he finally fits in his cloth diapers. I also have an appt in November to remove my thyroid to get rid of the cancer (all of it hopefully, it has not spread at all) ...excited and nervous for that, and I am sure it will bring its own challenges. For now I am just enjoying this time with my LO and trying not to stress too much. It is hard thinking about wills and not being here at 24 with a newborn, I think I am holding it together okay though.
Congrats to all you mommies (I think all babies are out now!!) I am working really hard at lending support and giving as much advice as a FTM can.
PS. Hope these pictures are not huge
