So, since we didn't post a weekend plans thread, let's hit it on the flip side!

I'll start!

My weekend was crazy busy.

Friday - DH had a golf tournament. In the pouring, monsoonal rain..... This meant I was a single mom for the day. He teed off at 8 AM so I did drop off... And pick up...

Saturady - I had a bridal shower at 11 AM.... Went to that, then had a bachelorette party that night... I ran around all day. The bach-ette was a lot of fun, except for when I fell when crossing a streeet. And no - I really was not even drunk..... I think my heel must have gotten caught in something. Maybe the most embarassing moment of my life - as it's a RIDICULOUSLY busy intersection and I'm all cut up....

Sunday morning I woke up and went to get LO (who was at MIL's, see the update one everyone thread for details).... Well, we had switched cars for the night - and hers had a flat tired. UGH. So we had to go get DH's car (it was left at the bachelor party venue) and then go get LO. I was so stinking happy to see her. We were both hurting from the night before so we grabbed some takeout from a greasy spoon and rotated napping... HAHA.

A super busy, but also really fun weekend over here!

Our weekend was decent. Friday was a chill day.

Saturday involved moving concrete and digging up our backyard. But we're almost ready to put the patio in.

Sunday we went to some open houses. Then off to my nieces first birthday party.

I got my first speeding ticket in more than 15 years. It's an area where the limit goes up and down between 55 and 45 over and over so the small towns can trap you speeding when it drops and you miss the sign -- looks like it worked in my case. In spite of a totally clean record, he still wrote it up for 16 over the limit (I thought I was only going 5ish over). I have to go to court to try to get it reduced, because NY has huge point penalties for speeding and it will be enough to increase my insurance rates if I don't get the charge reduced. Ugh.

My weekend was pretty laid back. I have had 3 day weekends since my surgery, and this was my first normal 2 day weekend and it felt way too short! But we are leaving for vacation after work today, so I'm excited! Just spending the week at a lake house. Nothing super exciting, but hopefully nice and relaxing.

On Saturday, we took the boys to gym class, which is always hilarious. And, I got to cut off my hair since I am sick of DS2 ripping out chunks! It feels so much better and I feel great. Later that day, DH and I had a heart to heart about some of the changes in our marriage since the boys and I think we were in dire need of a little communication. It was so great to air it all out and we both feel so much better!

On Sunday, we grocery shopped and I visited a friend with twins coming in a few days. It was so fun to talk newborn again! Of course, I'm hating on Monday. Especially now that my Monday love (The Bachelor(ette)) is over for a few months. I seriously grieve when it ends like the loser I really am!!

Our weekend was pretty laid back. We each ran errands and spent lots of time outside with DD playing in her swing and on her castle. She is still running a fever and a rash appeared yesterday so I am taking her to the pedi in a couple of hours. Other than that she slept a lot and we just chilled. It was probably our last quiet weekend for awhile, it seems like there is something on the calendar each weekend for the next month or so.

My brother got married on Friday!!! So we headed out of state on Thursday for the rehearsal, which was a horrible night of sleep for DS and we missed the actual dinner. Friday was another long day for DS but he survived and was the cutest ringbearer. The wedding was beautiful and I'm so happy that the bride and groom had a great day. Saturday, we drove home and pretty much recovered. I just have to share how DS looked on Friday.....

So cute CCAM!

We were on vacation with DH's family at their summer house last week, and drove home Friday night (traffic is terrible when trying to leave any time over the weekend!).

Saturday, DH played in a golf tournament, so he was gone all day - left before 7am, got home at 7pm. I took the kids to get hair cuts, then out for lunch, then home for nap/quiet time. In the afternoon, I brought them to my sister's house, and we alternated going to the gym while the other watched the kids (her husband was also golfing)!

Sunday we had a nice family day - walked downtown to our local coffee shop then stopped at the playground on the way home. In the afternoon DH and I alternated babysitting and exercising, then we all went out for dinner. It was a nice weekend!

Sorry I've been somewhat MIA and not doing my "Happy Friday" posts! It's been busy and by the time I remember, it's already 5pm Friday so I decided not to start a post then.

It's been another busy weekend. Sat went to pick up a CL purchase, then our weekly farmers market shopping. DH mopped the entire living/dining/kitchen area, plus M's room, cleaned the base boards, and the stairs. I cooked and cooked.

Sunday our friends came over with their baby daughter (7.5 months) for lunch. Next thing I know, weekend is over!

Saturday I had a baby shower to go to and it was so much fun, I didn't even stop to think how annoying it is that this girl had an oops pregnancy.

Sunday I got into total nesting mode and started washing newborn clothes and organizing the girls' room. I feel like I have to be extra prepared since the girls will be be sharing a room and I already have DD1's stuff all over the house.

@ccam he looks like a little gentleman! Fri I was at work and then we had some friends and their dogs over for a backyard fire and I had my first glass of wine since my bfp. Sat we went and got LO a cute lunch pail and a high chair that he now loves and we made a lovely dinner and dessert Sun I was working... Booo This morning I had off though and took LO for a coffee date with a friend and a long walk in the park, which was nice.

On Saturday we went for 5 month pictures (we go every month at a place in the mall) and A was not amused:( they offered to let us come back today. It was slightly more successful, lol! We ordered a high chair from BBB as A is thinking about sitting up now! Sunday we went to our one nephew's birthday party. It was ok. A is starting to get some 'stranger danger' and my IL's just kept coming up to me and getting her upset. Grrrrrr! Oh the IL's!

Friday night we met my cousin and went out to eat with a very tired H, picture to come Wednesday.

Saturday we stayed home and lounged out, I worked on some things for my classroom and generally just steered clear of the heat! Sunday Joel fixed an AC while H and I played in the truck, we went grocery shopping, and went to bed late, had a semi rough night just in time for back to work today.

Fun post! Sounds like we had some nice weekends!

Saturday I went to Pilates early and worked for awhile. We finally got all the books back on the shelves while J napped. We were going to hit a beer tasting event as part of a club we are part of, but when we realized that it was 45min away we scrapped it and had a quick beer at a favorite local spot. My brother came over for dinner and to play with J.

Sunday I missed church because J has shifted her naps back and I'm typically putting her down when I should be getting ready, sigh. We cleaned and hit BBB for some child proofing gear.

It was nice to just be home and get organized after traveling last weekend.
