Re: Monday morning vents

  • I have gone to the pediatrician once a week for the last three weeks, and this afternoon, will now make it the fourth week in a row. Now that DS1 seems to be getting better, DS2 starts up with a different aliment. What's worse is I had to send DS2 into school today since I missed time last week with his brother, and technically he can attend school today, he's just sick. :((

This is just such an awful time at work for me, I really don't have time for this! Which makes me feel even worse since my babies are sick and here I am, worrying about my work load. So pathetic. And, it's not like it used to be where DH and I used to take turns. Since DH is interviewing, he's been using the kids as an excuse every time he's late/leaves early so now that they are really sick, he can't help without it looking really suspecious. Then, if he gets a new job, he won't be able to help then either.

  • My Friday night was amazing!  I wish I could live it groundhog's day style. And now it's Monday.

I hate Mondays. However, the kids kept me busy and really pushed my patience this wknd that work is a welcoming break.

  • I let someone come to the daycare in a way that we do not usually do. Trying to be helpful ya know? Well now it has turned into a huge thing and I want to just tell her to get out. BUT I have to see her in other settings and really don't want to create drama. NO MORE BEING NICE TO PEOPLE!!!

I have a Daughter born 2/26/2013. She is pretty much amazing!

  • I am super annoyed with MIL...

She started our weekend off on the wrong foot Friday when DH called to confirm/remind her that she had agreed to watch DD Saturday evening so DH& I could attend an event. She backed out, and then had the nerve to ask "well you will still be able to attend, right?" to which DH said "Most likely not, as it is too late to arrange alternative care for DD".  She called the next morning and did agree to come watch DD, so slightly redeemed herself. But it put a real damper on our Friday evening.

Then Sunday morning she calls and wants DH to help her take FIL to the ER to have a catheter placed. He had hernia surgery last week and was having a small complication. Not a big deal. I didn't understand why she needed DH to help and couldn't take him by herself, but whatever. I expected he would help get him in the car, follow them to the ER, make sure he got inside ok and maybe wait until they were taken back to be seen. Nope MIL wanted DH to stay the entire time they were at the Hospital. So, our entire Sunday plans were shot. DH didn't get home until 8:30pm. and then proceeded to be upset with me for not taking care of some things he never even mentioned to me needed to be done.
