LO has a cold :(

So I think it happened :(:(:(

FIL had a cold, DH who works with him caught it and despite staying away from LO, I think he's caught it. Boooo!!

He is 5.5 weeks old. He is coughing occasionally and is phlegmy and super fussy/hard to get down for a nap. He isn't snotty but I have a snot sucker in case.

I feel so bad for him. Any BTDT have any tips? I just want to snuggle him better.

    I took LO to the doctor cause I was paranoid mama since I have a cold and I was afraid she had it. Only thing was the stuffy noise that he found, but he said I could try putting saline in her nose and the using an aspirator to suck the snot out.

    Saline drops in the nose, nosefrida, cool mist humidifier, and sleep on a slight incline. That's about all you can do.

    I was afraid DS had a cold too, I was told the same advice everyone has given above, and to BF as much as possible if you're nursing.
