WWYD: DS2 is sick!

DS1 came down with a bad cold last week.. Chest cold.. He gets them pretty easily.. I started with a post nasal drip thing on Friday, but just mild.. dS2 started not feeling well last night.. I just noticed he was spitting up after every feed, and not eating nearly as much (was taking 3-4oz/feed last night was barely taking 2oz).. Today the cough started.. Very wet, tight sounding cough. No fever. We have a pedi appt on Tuesday for his 1 month well visit, but I'm assuming we will end up using it as a sick visit.. My question is, because Ds2 is so young, should I be calling the ped today just to let them know? He has no fever, still is having wet diapers, but has this awful cough,, however, I know he likely got it from DS1.. Idk, just scares me to hear him coughing so bad when he's so teeny tiny.. But, I feel like they will just say its a cold that he got from your other son and we jus have to wait it out,, what would PAL Mommas do??? It's times like this that I feel neurotic.. When I first heard the cough I was ready to take him to the ER!! So scary. He's also been SO mucusy.. Choking/gagging on mucus and spitting up tons of mucus.. He's done that since he was born.. That's neof the things the ped is aware of, and we are likely going to start him on reflux this week at his appt.. But, now the choking and gagging, spitting up mucus and now this awful wet sounding cough.. Ugh, I'm afraid to put him down!!

I would call the pedi in the morning and see what they want you to do.

Thanks!.. this is what I plan to do.. but, I just wasn't sure if I should call the on call.. but, theres nothing they'd tell me to do differently tonight, so might as well just wait til the am.. I hate when they get sick!
