Burping?

Since I have gone back to work we have started giving LO a bottle at most feedings. We are doing 4oz and burp half way through. Sometimes she pitches a fit at the two ounce mark and will them refuse to eat the rest after she burps. I understand that she might be full, but some days she then barely hits the 24 oz mark for the day because of this. So I guess my question is how much do you feed before you burp? Also how old is your little one? Should I give her the full 4oz then burp? I just do not want to cause any more gas. R is 10 weeks, 10 lbs and eats about every 3 hours, 4oz give or take. She is also sttn. Thanks!

    My LO is 11 weeks and weighs about 14 pounds. We burp him about every 1 1/2 to 2 oz. he gets 5oz at every feeding. Sometimes he does not finish it all. But occasionally he will want the rest of it after taking a small break.

    I burp half way. Sometimes she cries when I stop, but will usually get over it. If she won't stop crying I let her finish and burp at the end. She always finishes the bottle when I stop half way unless she falls asleep. The bottle is good for an hour after you start it (assuming FF), so you can try giving it to her again in 10-20 minutes if she's not finishing it.

    My LO is 12w, 12lbs, sttn and eats 4oz, 7 bottles a day.

    ETA...she spits up so burping is imperative for her.

    LO is 15 weeks and gets 6 oz bottles. We burp him every oz or two because he spits up a lot. Occasionally, he needs a lite break during a bottle almost always will finish it.

    LO doesn't spit up much, but she does choke kind of often, so we burp either approximately 3/4 of the way through the bottle if she hasn't choked, or just when she starts to choke on it. 

    Choking sucks. 

    Often she will snooze for 5 minutes or so after we burp her, but then take the rest of the bottle. Or sometimes not. She gets 4.5 oz bottles every 2-3 hours at 10 weeks old/12 lbs.

    Ds is 9 weeks old and weighed 10 lbs at his two month appt. He eats 4 oz every 3 hours give or take. I try to burp after 2 or 2 1/2 oz. I then let him finish the bottle and burp a second time. My baby gets super fussy when I try to burp him. I'm extremely happy if I get two good burps.

    We had the same problem. I asked my pedi if I can feed him the whole bottle and then burp and he said it was fine. Now LO eats much more , anywhere from 4-6 oz/ feeding. He'll be 12 weeks on Wednesday.
