I started DD at 6 months (she's almost 7.5 months now). If I get her to eat 5 oz. in a day (we do purees), that's a lot. I know solids aren't the main form of nutrition right now, but I still feel like she should be eating more. On a typical day I probably get 3-4 into her.
Part of the problem is that she never wants veggies, only fruit....I don't want to offer only fruit every time. She's really not warming up to veggies at all, not even sweet potatoes. Apples, peaches, pears, plums, bananas...that's about all she'll entertain.
I think I worry because her weight % has dropped the last 2 pedi visits (she's still just under 50%, so not too tiny). Pedi wasn't that concerned but if it drops again I think she might be; I don't feel DD always nurses enough either, but that might be in my head. She always seems satisfied.
Just wondering how much others LOs are eating if you do purees, and also if anyone has any advice on getting her to eat veggies.
TIA!

Re: How much solid food is your LO eating?
As for the veggies, try offering both to her. To get DD to eat veggies I had to give her a bite of fruit and then a few bites of veggies. It gradually went to where she liked the veggies and now she gets fruit for breakfast and veggies for dinner. DD also lives the sweet potato and corn mix or the chicken and sweet potato mix. So maybe try mixing with meats too and see if that helps!
