Fairfax OB that does in house lab work?

How inconvenient is it if your OB office can't do their own lab work? I'm a current patient of Capital Women's Care (Fairfax) I've only had to have my annual exam there so far. If I become pregnant I'm wondering if frequent visits to them will be convenient. I read a Yelp review that they do not an in house lab or sonogram which leads to extra appointments. I can't be taking a ton of time off work so if you have had to go to Lab Corp for ex. how convenient is that is matching up with regular appointments?

    I'm with Fairfax OB GYN and they have in house lab and sonos. If you plan to become pregnant I highly recommend in house options as you already have so many appts it would be harder to have more. I see the midwives but there are also doctors if you prefer that route. They are really great in my opinion. https://www.fairfaxobgyn.com/

    Hey there!

    I got to Capital Women's Care in Fairfax, no worries they do in house sonogram and ultrasound. They will do your lab work for you too, they just send it out to other lab. Just make sure your insurance is ok with that!
