Birthday party time?

LO naps once a day around 1-3. I'm pretty crazy about maintaining his sleep schedule to keep the peace around here (if such a thing even exists with a toddler), so I'm stressing a little about when to have his party. Thinking about pushing for an earlier nap and partying from 3-5. That way we can serve appetizers and cake and avoid dinnertime and darkness (we'll be outside).

When will you be hosting your LO's party?

Re: Birthday party time?

  • We are planning to do a breakfast themed party from 930 to 12. DD is always in the best mood around this time and it doesn't mess with nap time!

  • We're limited by the times the museum has, so his party is 11-1, and he'll probably just have a later nap. But really, anything goes. We went to a second birthday this weekend that started at 4, after the little guy's nap.

  • DS naps 12-2.  We are doing a 3pm party time.

  • We'll probably do a 3:30 start time for the people with kids and everyone else will probably get there around 4 or 4:30 and it will probably last until 8:30.
  • We are doing a party from 11 to 1. Gator isn't on a schedule really, so we booked the party for then and figured it would wipe her out and she could snooze after we get home from the party.
