Noises

Trying to keep LO asleep during nap, I've become much more aware of some of the noisy things of our house/neighborhood.

Here are the things that drive me crazy:

Motorcycles! Why must you roar by using our street as a speedway while the windows are open?

Soda stream machine. Why must you noisily carbonate water while LO is napping, DH?

    The dog oh the dog.... The barking the scratching. Even if I let you out you would not get the rabbit in the back yard

    My LO sleeps through most noise but when my SO starts talking he wakes up.

    We live near a major airport (sea-tac). Not bad when they are taking off but when the are landing and our windows are open, oh boy! Add that to my old dog who can't see so she barks at shadows....let's just say LO can sleep through a lot!

    I have to say I'm super lucky--- baby stays asleep through EVERYTHING. Perhaps because baby's birth parent lives in a super loud urban neighborhood? In any case, it's a tremendous blessing!

    Our neighbors who think they're so cool they have to pull in their driveway every time with their music blasting with the base or whatever turned up so much it rattles our windows. We live in a small town where most everyone is over the age of like 70 and we would get the only annoying people as neighbors...

    You are not alone in this. We also live in a town that is full of retirees and we get the neighbors that like to hang out in their car for hours on end and have the music and bass so loud the walls vibrate. Though it is more annoying to me and DH than DD.
