I don't usually whine, but...
DH said the other day he wanted to take me out for dinner tonight. He was out with friends earlier today so while he was gone I got dressed up and even put makeup on lol. Then he walked in the door with one of his friends, who he invited to this dinner. Then my brother wanted to come. Hooray. To make this all worse, we ended up paying for everybody. Boo for a hijacked date.
On the plus side though, DD was a little angel at the restaurant.

That's disappointing! I would definitely tell him you were hoping for a date a deux and see if he'll make it up to you.
