Team Green: Was your hunch right??

I'm team green for the first time (2nd time pregnant) and my hunch has always been girl... for no strong or compelling reason.  The majority of friends and family seem to think so but of course it's all a crap shoot until s/he's born!  Just curious for those of you who were team green... was your gender prediction right?

Re: Team Green: Was your hunch right??

  • We were team green and EVERYONE including friends, family, and me thought it was a boy.  DH was the only one who thought it was a girl and he was having second thoughts because he was so outnumbered.

DH was right! Everyone was shocked :)

  • My hunch said this baby was absolutely a boy. But out popped a girl! To say i was shocked is an understatement!!

  • I didn't have a hunch but DH thought girl.  Everyone else I met/saw (including people at the grocery store) thought I was having a boy.  DH was right- team green turned team pink!

  • We were team green with our first.  I was 99.9999% sure it was a boy.

    I was wrong!!!
  • We were team green both times. Both times I felt boy and DH thought girl. I was right both times.

With DS2 everyone expected a girl. I was much sicker and carried completely different. Even my doc thought we were having a girl.
  • Everyone thought we were having a girl. Strangers would even say I was carrying like it was a girl (whatever that means) Every old wives tale indicated I was having a girl....

When I first found out I was pregnant I had a dream I was buying a "it's a boy" card from the store. Any baby dream I had involved a baby boy. DH thought we were having a boy.

We welcomed a healthy baby boy <3
  • I was convinced she was a girl, but EVERYONE thought I was having a boy. I think I was the only one not surprised when she was born!

  • Not team green here, but with DD My DH and I both had strong feelings that she was a girl and we were right. With DS I knew he was a boy from the very beginning of my pregnancy because it was SO different from my pregnancy with DD. I am curious if I will be able to tell from pregnancy symptoms alone with future pregnancies.
  • I always insisted boy.  DH insisted girl.  I was right.  :)

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.

  • My mom and I were the only ones who thought both LO's were girls. Everyone else said they were boys.

Mom and I were right both times.
