Okay so why are there no Mickey Mouse or Monsters Inc underwear for girls (2T) !? Sure there is Minnie but that is not Mickey, my daughter isn't stupid.
Yes I am making a bigger deal out of this then I need to but I am upset and how sexist that is.
Plus I was really excited to use the method of telling my DD to not get "Mickey" or who ever messy because you go potty in the toilet.
Well all my daughters favorite characters aren't made for girls, apparently, like Mickey, Sully... Of course I'm going to try some of the other characters but I know what motivates her and its not mini mouse.
Bubble guppies would do the trick too but apparently Nick Jr. Doesn't make those ether.

Okay rant over sorry...
DH told me to just buy some guy underwear but Im not sure how comfy she would be because I don't know how they are cut differently.
You will never know how much you mean to me my little jelly Bean.

Re: I am about to write Disney! Arhhhgggg!
Probably the same reason why I can't find Dora or Minnie undies in boys cuts.
It sucks, but honestly, character stuff is pretty sexist all the way around- not just Disney. Pixar, Nick Jr, PBS etc all have their "boy" stuff and their "girl" stuff.
Is it not fair and okay. But it kind of is what it is. I'm not a big fan of character stuff in general, and LO has very little of it. Mostly Lightning McQueen. As for underwear, I took him to store, showed him the boy ones and let him pick. He had options and got to be in control of the choices, even if they they were more "boyish".
Why not take her to the store, and show here the ones they do have and just let her pick? I'm sure she will find something she likes.
A kiss he will never forget- Disney World 2014

And I don't think they are cut differently, not the pull ups at least!
We ended up just getting her a generic pack and a pack of Minnie underwear because the Mickey boy ones only had a 3 pack for $6... To much of a rip off for her to be having accidents in them. I'll have her go pick out her favorite characters, rip off or not, as a present once she is potty trained.
I really may write someone... Not that it will do much good... But I want my daughter to love princess and monsters and be able to show that off if she wants too.

Anyway, I AGREE!

But yeah I don't see why they can't use "boys" characters against a girlie cutesy colored background if they wanted to... or just make some gender neautral undies... ugh it drives me nuts.
