Chances of twins??

I'm just curious what the chances are of me having twins. I see a lot of ladies here are finding out that they are expecting two beans, so I'm just curious of my chances. I, myself, am a fraternal twin! Did you ladies conceive twins with the help of IVF?

You have a higher chance of having twins if they run in your family and they typically skip a generation. Identical twins run in my family so I'll have to wait and see.

Fraternal twins are genetic. Identical twins are not. I'd say you definitely have a chance of having twins!

I don't know what your chances are naturally but I had to do DE IVF and we transferred 2 embryos so my chances of twins are around 30%. I'll find out next week!

Ditto what PP said.... You have a greater chance of having fraternal twins because you are one.
I'm a fraternal twin too... With a twin brother. Growing up (and to this day, really) I'm shocked how many people asked if my brother and I were fraternal or identical!

I'm a fraternal twin, it runs in my family, and has NOT skipped SMG generations in 4 generations-yikes!!

I'm not a twin but I'm having twins with no outside help. I do have two cousins that have twins so I guess it does run in my family.

My hubby's grandma had two sets of twins... Yikes! Hubby also has a friend that had twin girls, tried for a boy, and got triplet girls. No help, all natural. And now he's like let's try for a boy one more time! At the rate you're going you'll end up with quad girls!!!
