We found out today that Baby A has IUGR. We go in next week to find out if things have improved and if it hasn't they said we need to talk about options. I am 18w4d and I am wondering if anyone else had this any had a positive outcome.
Hi I'll write more in the morning but yes we had iugr in our baby a also. I made it to 36w3d and while she was small at 4lbs she was amazing and spent no nicu time. It's a tough road but don't lose hope.

We found out at 24 weeks that our baby B was IUGR. We've been having twice weekly dopplers since then, I'm now almost 31 weeks. It has been quite a roller coaster and I didn't think we would make it this long. Currently things are looking up, B had a big growth spurt and for the moment is not technically IUGR although there is still quite a bit of discordance and things can change quickly.
I'm sorry you are going through this, I know how very difficult it is. My thoughts are with you, hoping your A hangs in there. Opinions vary on whether or not you can do anything to help. My MFM said no but some think lots of protein and rest can help.
We found out at 27 weeks and I was admitted to the hospital 3 times between then and when I delivered at 36w 3d. My doc was extremely happy we made it that far. We were dealing with iugr and diminished cord flow in both babies. It was a very scary time for us but both babies were very healthy and spent no nicu time. Best wishes to you! I don't know if it helped but my mfm had me drink 2 boost drinks every day for the remainder of our pregnancy.
