RE visit today

We had our last visit with the RE today before transfer day, or at least we thought it was our last. Turns out my lining hasn't gotten any thicker since Monday. They are keeping me on my current dosage of estrogen and will recheck on Monday, but said my lining may not thicken up.

I only have half a uterus (unicornuate uterus...look it up) and he said, because of that, my lining may not thicken as much as he wants. This makes me super nervous. It's between 7.5-8 and his goal is 8mm. I'm worried it will effect how the egg implants, or if it implants.

*sigh* I guess I should worry less and trust him more. After all, he does this for a living. I don't.

    Sorry to hear that :( a big bummer, for sure.  It sounds like he's only trying to do what's best for you.  It's best to err on the side of caution to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible, you know?  Hang in there and keep us posted on how it works out!

    My first FET cycle was cancelled (I ovulated through my meds) and it is SO frustrating.  But hopefully your RE will get your lining where it needs to be, if not on this cycle then on a future one.  GL!

    FX your lining gets there. .5mm isn't much, and another few days may just do the trick!
    Lil'mamaz was born on Aug 21, 2014! She's PERFECT!

    Dec. '12 - Donor Egg/Donor Sperm IVF Cycle - 4 good embies!
    Dec. '12 - Fresh transfer, BFP! EDD 8/29/13
    Mar. '13 - Missed m/c at 16w1d, baby boy stopped growing at 15w4d
    Loss due to umbilical cord clot...baby was perfect. :(
    Jul '13 - FET#1 - c/p
    Sept. '13 - FET#2 - BFN
    Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!
    Dec' 26, 2013 - hb!!
    EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
    Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
    We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle

    Thanks, y'all. It's just frustrating. He had already set everything up for Tuesday and its disappointing to know my body isn't responding quite the way they want it to.

    But yes, lbugher, you are right...I'd rather err on the side of caution.

    ball.and.chain: I hope it's not cancelled! I guess we will find out on Monday. I've been on the medicine for almost 2 weeks now, so we will see.

    2mamaz: it's not much, but from Mon to Thurs last week it didnt get any thicker. Hopefully a few more days is exactly what it needed and everything will be fine on Monday!
