I just started to pump for the first time this morning since I'll be going back to work in a couple of weeks. I wasn't impressed with the results. I pumped for 15 minutes and ended up with hardly any milk in the bottle. I bought the Medela pump in style advanced. I did notice that the breast shield was a little big so I'm hoping that a smaller shield will result in more efficient pumping. I know my baby is getting enough because he keeps growing and he has plenty of wet and dirty diapers everyday. I was wondering how much milk you guys produce on average when you pump for 15 minutes.

I’m a modern man, a man for the millennium. Digital and smoke free. A diversified multi-cultural, post-modern deconstruction that is anatomically and ecologically incorrect. I’ve been up linked and downloaded, I’ve been inputted and outsourced, I know the upside of downsizing, I know the downside of upgrading. I’m a high-tech low-life. A cutting edge, state-of-the-art bi-coastal multi-tasker and I can give you a gigabyte in a nanosecond! I’m new wave, but I’m old school and my inner child is outward bound. I’m a hot-wired, heat seeking, warm-hearted cool customer, voice activated and bio-degradable. I interface with my database, my database is in cyberspace, so I’m interactive, I’m hyperactive and from time to time I’m radioactive.

That's good to know! I have Dr Browns so I will try that next time. I know I have an oversupply because I haven't nursed DS at the breast. I do give a lot of my milk to my cousin who had a baby in March that doesn't produce a whole lot of milk.

My pumping is basically getting me the amount she's taking in at daycare, plus maybe an additional bottles worth a day (on a good day).
Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!
