Magic sleepsuit losing its magic :(

Last week I caved at 2 in the morning and ordered a Merlin's magic sleepsuit out of desperation after 4 weeks of 4 month sleep regression hell. Didn't really expect it to work, but it did. Typically, LO would be up every couple of hours allnight long. But with the suit, she got at least a 5 hour stretch followed by a 4 hour stretch. This happened for 3 nights straight and I could have cried from relief. She was also WAY easier to get to sleep. We could put her down awake and she would drift off on her own with minimal fussing.

But last night was the 4 th night and it all came crashing down. Back to a lot of fussing at bedtime, and she again had trouble staying asleep. We did manage to soothe her and keep her on her crib for a first 5 hour stretch, but after that the wakeups were enough that we had to go rock her back to sleep every hour. UGH.

I'm hoping this was a one night thing and tonight we will be back to sleeping well, but I have a bad feeling.

Anyone else disappointed in the sleepsuit after initial success?

    Oh I hope not...I'm like you and finally ordered the suit after multiple sleepness nights.
    We are still waiting for it to arrive.  I have lot of hope riding on it's success.

    Yes.  I got a 6 hour stretch the first night and that was it.  I still like using it though because it keeps him from rolling on his stomach...which still scares me since he's a new roller.  I'm lucky to get 4.5, 5 hour stretch these days.  I'm so tired and so jealous of these magic 15 hour sleeping babies!  I feel like I'll never have one of those.

    I just got my yesterday and my LO is NOT fond of it at all! He moves like crazy in it and screams until he's picked up and taken out of it. Feeling discouraged but we will have to manage without it or try it a couple more times :(

    It still helps dd fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but she is still up 3x a night. She eats and goes right back down at least.

    We are on night 4 of it working for us. She is waking 2-3 times between 730pm and 7am but prior to using it we were up 7-10 times a night.

    She also does go down, and back down, with much greater ease.
