Friend suffered a loss

Question: we just returned from a week long trip with friends, and one friend was pregnant with her first. When we got home she had an appt and found out the baby stopped developing. My heart is broken for her but I don't know whatnot say or how to help. Does anyone have any advice? TIA

    I think mainly just be there for her and don't expect her to get over it easily.  How far along was she?  I was in the first tri, and still felt nauseated afterwards.  Cooking was a real chore because I wanted to vomit and sleep all the time, but I had H and Lulu to feed.  Bringing food or ordering pizza or something like that was helpful for me.
