Brain Highways?

Anyone ever use them? Someone suggested it to us and I've never heard of it and just doing a quick search I haven't found one review saying it didn't help or wasn't worth it. Thoughts?

Re: Brain Highways?

  • Umm, this sounds really spammy. Who are you?

  • This sounds a lot like neuroreorganization, which is something a lot of people on another board I frequent for FAS have tried and had success with. Personally, I have been seeking our help from more medical, mental health, and educational professionals with more mainstream treatments and therapies. I'm not saying that I don't think it can work, but to me, it seems gimmicky, and like they are appealing to parents who've lost all hope and are looking for a long shot.
  • Not spam I somewhat posted on my local board way back when and mostly lurked I haven't been on the nest/bump boards in forever and couldn't remember my log in and didn't realize I posted this under this screen name.

Anyways 2 families from my kiddo's preschool had their kids do Brain Highways and recommended it to us. I had never heard of it and all the positive reviews I found made me skeptical so I came here wondering if anyone had any experience with it.
  • I am not sure if I buy this either. You get a new screen name in the morning and this is one of the first things you post? Since I couldn't see your posting history I can only assume this is not legit.

  • Well thanks for being so helpful :/ it was a legit question and I honestly forgot my other log in and didn't think I needed to go crazy trying to remember my old one. I guess next time I won't bother.
  • Ugh I thought I managed to log myself in under my old name but it reverted back to the other oh well
  • Look, i actually believe you and don't tink this was just simple spam (spammers rarely come back to defend their posts, for one), but there's no read to get huffy. Several of us *did* answer you. We said either, that we hadn't heard about the program, or that it sounded gimmicky, and we preferred more transitional, established programs with articles/evaluations in academic/peer reviewed sources.
