potty training

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
My son has been taking his diaper off when he has to use the bathroom so I've been trying to potty train him. He will sit or stand over his potty chair for a few second and then pee in the floor. Does anyone have any advice for potty training? Any tips and tricks that worked for them? TIA!

    @Aluenna, looks like you have a young potty trainer, too. What age was your daughter completely PT?

    How old is LO?

    My Lo started doing that around 17 months or so, and always liked to follow us into the bathroom and "wipe" even though he did nothing.    But that is where it ended. 

    He didnt' officially potty train until 2 1/2, and at that point- it took 5 days.

    Awesome! Was is very easy for you? I was surprised how EASY it was to potty train at 19 months. We did the 3 day method, and he has been perfect since. He usually stays dry even throughout the night/naptime as well. This just isn't how everyone said it would be! :)
