Recommend your toddler bibs (non-velcro)

I'm in need of some bibs for my DS who just turned 1 that don't have velcro closures. Snaps or probably even ties would work. I have 2 that pull over his head, but the neck holes are kinda large so they don't cover his shirt collars very well.

He's a pro at ripping off the velcro Bumkins bibs that we have and throwing them to the ground. The 1 larger Bumkins bib w/ short sleeves and velco he can't get off,but yanking on it is really irritating his neck.

What do you like and use for your toddler?

DS gets every single bib off, including the hard Baby Bjorn. We really thought that would work, but DS is the Incredible Hulk. DH even rigged it w/ tape to reinforce the closure but nope, he still gets it off. You may want to try it though!

I actually just put a small binder clip over the velcro closure and he can't pull it off. Works great and is super cheap! Maybe give that a try.

I like the snap bibs from Carter's that come in a 3-pack. Sometimes DD won't touch her bib & other times she wants it off. If she starts pulling at it I just take it off b/c she gets her neck all red yanking on it otherwise.

I have these. Love them. Plus there is no cloth so you can wash them off after a feeding and use them for the next.

Neither one of my little Houdini's can get out of these bibs...plus they are great at catching the dropped food which makes clean up easier. They are rubbery plastic so you just rinse them in the sink instead of doing laundry. LOVE them!

Babies R Us carries them in blue, green, yellow and pink.

My DD was doing the same thing with her Bumpkins and I agree with this poster...I finally found vinyl bibs that have a snap closure!! They do work.

Aiden and Anais bibs have snaps and work great. And oversized napkins tied like a kerchief also work wonders.

I just take DD top off when I feed her at home. When we are out I use our Carters bibs.

We do this. I stole a box of binder clips from the office and we leave it in the drawer with the bibs. I think I am tricky every time I put him in his highchair and bib him up.

I made my own. I'm not a big sewing person at all, but I found a pattern online and bought some fabric--half cloth for a more decorative side, and half terry-cloth for the absorbent side. I bought some cheap snaps at Walmart and hammered those on. I think I made 27 total, and we have never run out before it's laundry time. My DD has never pulled one off.
