  • My LO had her 4 month shots on Tuesday. The Dr. told us to give her tylenol and to use her mood as an indicator. If she had a fever over 100.4 and was smiling and happy not to worry, but if she was lethargic and out of it then to call.

Good luck. I hate shots and am thankful my LO has never gotten a fever afterwards!

  • A fever is a normal reaction to the shots, but if you're feeling unsure at all, call the pedi.  I've called them like 3 times this week over "stupid" stuff (bottles, gripe water, lol).  If it makes you feel better.  But yes, infant Tylenol for the fever every six hours
