We went on our babymoon to our family cabin in upstate NY. It's completely cut off from civilization but still has the comforts of a home. We brought our baby name book with us and decided to shoot each other names on the trip. After going through many names and meanings of names we came across Lukas. We liked it but weren't sure that it was a definite choice. We enjoyed our trip and alone time without our six year old and just focused on each other for a week. It was relaxing with wonderful cool weather and good food! When we got back home I was cleaning and came across a key chain DH's sister had got him from her trip to Hawaii. His name is Russ and the key chain said "Russ-Luke"! I thought that was a cool little sign and interesting story behind how we decided on a name for our son. The name Russ means Luke in Hawaiian. Though when we found the name in the book we were looking at a Greek name/meaning which means "light".
So, how did you decide on your baby's name? Any other fun stories?

Re: How we chose his name!
His name was James, so we chose Jameson as a sort of diminutive of James.
