So my baby is still only sleeping 2-3 hour stretches. He is in bed by 7:30 does a dream feed around 10, and is up usually at 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30/6. I am trying EASY but he wants to comfort suck before sleeping and looks at me like I am crazy when I try a pacifier.
I am beginning to feel like it is my fault and losing some steam. Everyone keeps asking me shouldn't he be sleeping more by now? I am like yeah, my baby didn't get the memo. Ugh.
So how long does your baby sleep? Are you doing EASY, on demand, nursing to sleep or something else?
Just want to get a sense of how much of an outlier I am and also if there is pattern to the method for the better sleeping babies. Thanks so much.
Re: How much does your baby sleep? Poll
I start bedtime routine at 8 and then he is in bed no latter then 10-10:30. I dont fight him to sleep I just cluster feed him and it seems to make him more sleepy and then by 10 he is usually out like a light. He will then sleep for about 8-10 hours. When he finally does wake up he is not fully awake so I will feed him in bed and then he will sleep for another 1-2 hours. He does all of his sleeping during the night and early morning. He will not nap during the day at all. But is fussy time isn't until about 7 so it works out.

I just nurse on demand. He wakes up crying and I change him, feed him, hold him to avoid reflux and then back to sleep. Usually between 45 mins to an hr total.
I would skip the dream feed and see if it helps ( like pp suggested).
