My car died in carpool! The battery light popped on and it would not start. The head of the science department walked over and it magically started.

Between this and Allie's bites, I'm never going to show my face again!

    It's actually been a great day. Allie was excited she might cluck like a chicken. I got a lot done around the house. I've laughed at myself, more than I should.

    Don't kill me if I'm wrong, but my H is a mechanic and he's run across it a few times where it was something as silly as a battery cable that's loose, or corroded.  A friend of mine replaced her battery and was still having issues and my H looked at it and was like "oh, the cable's loose."  Ever since then, every time it won't start like that, the cable's been loose.  Stupid cars.

    This. Years ago, when I was in college, I went to my car and it was dead, dead, dead. Long story made short, I thought I needed a new battery, but it was only a loose cable.

    I checked those when we got home. Both were tight. My dad also a mechanic said an dieod could be going out. It could be a jerk of car. I'm keeping an eye on it and having the battery checked tonorrow
