IVF here I come...

Looks like I will be officially be starting IVF treatment my next cycle. I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve, so was warned that IVF success rate for women with this is under 25%. What a punch in the gut that was to hear.

I had a good cry afterwards (IN the dr's office...yikes! Thank God she's fantastic). My head spun after getting the rundown on all the meds, injections, AM, PM, blah blah blah. Good lord. 

Part of me feels like IVF won't work anyway with a high FSH like me, so why bother. But I guess it's not going to hurt me to try. I'm just finding it harder and harder to stay positive!

    Good Luck to you! After my appointment tomorrow hopefully we will know more about our IVF plan.  Maybe we will be near each other in our quest. (I was dx with DOR as well.) Keep us updated!

    Having gone through the IVF schedule whirlwind, I bet your head was spinning w the other news on top! Very exciting time!!! Nothing but luck and good wishes!!!
