    I know there are people I don't have in the correct groups. Sorry about that. I won't be around all that much today. I'm taking a "me day" with todays absolutely gorgeous weather and after yesterdays bfn. It is what it is...on to September!

    Hey Fireflies!  

    What a whirlwind of the past 3 days.  My ET was supposed to be 8/6.  As I'm walking out the door to go I get a phone call from RE saying that only one embryo has continued to grow.  However, he was not a blast yet.  There was a 50/50 chance that he would blast over night and if he did we could do the transfer.  Or we could transfer the morula.  DH decided to wait over night and see what happened.  WELL..... He continued to grow and we were able to do a day 6 transfer.  When the RE got the embryo he said he was  no longer a 1cc but between a 1bb and 1aa.  Our little fighter made it and I am finally in the 2ww.  Beta is scheduled for 8/15.  Fingers crossed our little fighter keeps fighting.

    Good luck to all my fireflies!  Hugs to those who need them.

    So yes, BFN... in between feeling like it will never happen and being positive. But if you flip a quarter enough times eventually you'll get heads right? Gotta recharge and gear up for September's FET. Scared to DEATH of the PIO shots I'll begin. Will definitely need support in that department!

    QOTD:  Well I told my friend about her surprise party in front of her DH bc I overlooked the part in the email that said "It's a surprise." Wanted to crawl under the table and die. Also, in high school I bumped a parked car trying to park next to it when there were about a million other open spots. In front of most of the entire driving student body. Hard to live that one down for a bit.

    Hugs to you, WindyCity, and everyone else who is hurting.

    Well, I got my BFP on Tuesday, and beta #2 came back today at 1859, so I've passed one small milestone. Final beta check is Monday, and then my first US will be Thursday or Friday. I am still in disbelief. My Fx are crossed that this baby sticks around for the long-haul!

    I see I'm still in stimming. I updated that we retrieved 3 mature but none fertilized so we didn't make it to transfer. I'm still waiting for a call back from my RE to get details. I also made an appointment for a second opinion at a new RE. We'll see how that goes. Today AF came and I'm in bed with again the worst cramps and back pain. After a failed IVF, it really should be a nice painless AF, bit is seems to always be the worst. What a kicker.

    Congrats as well to all the BFPs.

    Update. ET was today. Transferred 2 blasts. Beta is 8/19. Not looking forward to the next 10 days!! I have tix to a concert on Tuesday- think its ok to go? I guess I should try and stay seated and not be jumping around???

    I just went through the 2ww and you should be fine to go to a concert. Just refrain from the mosh pit.

    Hello everyone.  We got our BFP last Friday with beta #1- 245, B#2- 703, and B#3- 1655.  We scheduled out first ultrasound for Friday Aug 23rd!   I did ask for a 4th beta because with the last pregnancy the first 3 were good and then the fourth dropped soo I want to make sure it is still going up and get past the 4th with a good number then I feel better.

    Update: I got my protocol yesterday and H and I signed consents, FET will officially be 10/1. 

    QOTD: I've done lots of embarassing things but I think the worst was when I got stuck in the sunroof of my car. Mainly because there is no good explanation for how that happens to someone, short of saying "I'm an idiot and I clearly was not thinking this through".

    I went in today for my 1st us at 6wks. We were not able to see much but the yolk sac. Measuring 5wks and nurse said that matches my low beta start showing I just implanted later. My beta today is 6,965! Yay! So we go again next Thursday for another us and should be able to see a lot more then!

    Got my meds on Tuesday for FET #2 in September.  Just plugging along on BCP.

    QOTD: I also bled all over myself and my chair at school from my period. It was my first time using a tampon and I didn't know how often they had to be changed.  I was in high school.  Fortunately I don't think anyone saw it or if they did no one ever said anything. But I was mortified!!!

    I'm 4w6d today. Turns out the ri wants weekly u/s too so my first u/s will be on the 14th. I also *might* still be taking daily hpts. Lol

    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
    7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle
    (plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
    ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)
    ET 5dt 7/24 2 fully expanded blasts.  SURPRISE 3 FROSTIES!!!

    Glad you are taking time for yourself windy! I've been taking this bfn extremely hard and cry almost every day. Did accupuncture yesterday and it did help with some of the anxiety. Today is my wtf appointment and DH can't go with me so I'm taking my mom to have another set of ears in case I miss something since ill probably cry then too! It's so hard to give up on something when it's all I've ever wanted, so I'm trucking on and being brave and moving forward with another cycle hopefully in a few months. DH said something so sweet the other day, "we will beat this" and that gave me more strength than he will ever know. Thanks for letting me ramble thus morning
    TTC 2 years- Me and DH (28) with (severely) low sperm count- less than 40 total (last 2 SA showed only 5 and 6 sperm each)
    IVF #1: ER 1/23/13- 4 eggs retrieved, 3 eggs fertilized; ET with 1 embryo 1/28/13 2 frosties beta #1 2/5 was 4.8- beta #2 2/7 3.5; BFN
    FET #1- transferred one beautiful 4AA embie. Praying this is my take home baby. Beta 5/7/13- BFFN!!!
    IVF #2: ER 7/17/13: 6R/3F- transferred 1 blast and 1 10 cell embryo 5dt.   Beta hell.  #1 2.5, #2 2.2- BFFFN! REALLY?
    IVF #3: ER 12/1 and only 2 retrieved.  1 fertilized with ICSI.  Was planning on transferring one fresh and one frozen....fresh was only 14 cells at day 5...CANCELLED and devastated due to 5cm blood filled cyst in ovary and blood in uterus.
    IVF #4: Antagonist protocol with endometrial scratch day one of stims.  ER 4/21: 6R/4M/3F- transferred 2 beautiful blasts (5dt) and one was hatching!  No frosties but hoping we won't need it!  Beta 5/4/14- 444(8dp5dt), Beta #2 10dp5dt 1002!  THIS HAS GOT TO BE IT!!!!!!!!!!  First US 5/15 we saw two of the most beautiful gestational and yolk sacs I have ever seen!  
    ****FINALLY PREGNANT WITH DI/DI TWINS!!!!!!!  

    BRINLEY AND RILEY LONG.  Born November 20, 2014 at 32 wks 3 days.  4lbs7oz and 4lbs5oz.  1 month NICU time for "B's" and growing and feeding.  Now healthy, thriving, beautiful little girls!

    I'm just waiting on my first ultrasound which is on Tuesday.  I'm praying so hard that everything is ok!!  I'm so excited, anxious, and nervous!  I started PIO on Wednesday and they are not bad at all!  I had major anxiety about it, but I like it better than the oozing cream....lol. :) 

     

    QOTD:  Hmm....It wasn't the worst, but one time  was coming out of the bathroom at a concert and my skirt was tucked into  my fishnets...lol.  A girl came up and pulled it out for me as soon as she saw....Thank goodness!!

    HUGS for those of you having a rough time.

    I had a rough week myself and have been feeling like this cycle is a bust. My beta isn't until Monday but I POAS on Weds 6dp5dfet and it was a bfn. At least I was able to relax myself and help the horrible feeling in my stomach to go away. It may have been too early to test but I'm not holding my breath.

    UGH...I truly truly hate IF

    QOTD: My bf at the time and I were caught in 'act' by his sister....yikes!
