What is the most expired thing you have discovered in your cupboard/refrigerator/freezer? I just found microwave popcorn from 2009. I think I need to clean our storage out a little more often.

    I'm pretty anal about this, but when we were cleaning out my in-law's house a few years ago in preparation for their move, we found a 2 liter of coke that had expired in 1997.

    I stay pretty on top of it too, but around the time DD1 turned 2, I realized my in-laws had an ancient can of Nesquik powder and were using it when she asked for chocolate milk! I think it was a can they bought before DH left for college 5 years earlier. Ewwww......

    My mom's house still had the whey protein can I used before I moved out 4 years ago. She thought it would be good for a while... I told her the whey probably evolved into a cow by now.

    OMG, my mom and MIL are the WORST. The stuff we find in their cabinets and refrigerators is ridiculous. They all think it's just fine since it hasn't been opened. So disgusting.

    We were eating hot dogs last week when I realized the mustard I was eating expired last year. Yummy!

    My mom is horrible! She has this "that stuff lasts forever theory!" She is also part hoarder. Most of the stuff in her house is over the date. A month ago my brother clean out get cabinet and found broth cube that expired in 1982!!!!!! (That bad is unheard of and she didn't know they were in there). But then she wanted to keep them as memory!
