Someone posted on the Baby Shower board a story about a woman who has recently had her 12th child, all boys. They have been trying for a girl and have not ruled out the possibility of trying for number 13.

It got me wondering how many people have a preference. For us we always wanted three kids (well I want more but DH says we are stopping at three). So boys, girls, that's how many kids we will have, God willing. With my first I truly didn't care. With my second I hoped for a boy since we already had a girl, though again we would have happily welcomed another baby girl. Part of the reason I was also hoping for one of the opposite sex was for practical reasons, we only have three bedrooms, so two kids are going to have to share. It's going to be much easier to figure out who will be sharing. Now that we have one of each I don't have a preference when we try for number three. Anybody else?
Re: This Article Got Me Thinking...
I would NEVER have more children in an attempt to have a specific gender. That just seems crazy (and ungrateful) to me.
