Gals.... My DH got home some ravioli from the restaurant hez been to for dinner. I realized later from the website menu that its cooked in champagne butter sauce , by that time I was half way though the dish [was starving].
This is our first baby and my totally freaking out .... Would never wanna harm my lil one.

Exactly how much alcohol will remain in your pan depends on so many factors that a general answer for all recipes is impossible. In 1992 nutritionists at the University of Idaho, Washington State University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture measured the amounts of alcohol before and after cooking two burgundy-laden dishes similar to boeuf bourguignonne and coq au vin, plus a casserole of scalloped oysters made with sherry. They found that anywhere from 4 percent to 49 percent of the original alcohol remained in the finished dishes, depending on the type of food and the cooking method.
