Bacon plain is acceptable, and chopped bacon mixed into things is usually a good thing. But a giant slice of bacon on a perfectly good burger, just waiting to remove all the cheese and saucy goodness on the first bite, is a terrible addition.
I don't understand adding bacon to every effing thing! I don't eat meat, anyway, but my ILs add it to every side dish they make! As in, if they make 3 side dishes, all 3 will contain bacon. Overkill, seriously.

I hope this is truly a UO. There's not much that isn't improved with a slice of bacon, IMHO. Now I want a burger with bacon, mushrooms and Swiss cheese.
We just got home from Hobby Lobby. They already have Christmas trees and decorations on display. Normally this would annoy me greatly, but this time when I rounded the corner and saw all these beautifully lit green trees, I got a little thrill!
And I too am now starving for a big bacon, mushroom, swiss burger with extra salty fries and a huge Mt. Dew. Thanks for that people. Thanks.

That's why you cook your bacon, crumble it up, and mix it into the hamburger before you cook it. Problem solved. Also? Delicious.
TTC with MFI, PCOS, and endometriosis since February 2010

My (apparently) UO is that I think it's gross to pee on the toilet seat, to not flush the toilet, and to not wash your hands. This is a professional building people, let's practice those skills we learned when we were 2.
TTC with PCOS since November 2009
IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP! beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75 beta #2 11/28 = 2055 Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012! Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
Tide detergent sucks. m's had an increasingly bad rash...I thought I loved it but it only took four months to turn the tables! Now, what to do with my two extra boxes! Oh, and Starbucks coffee makes my world better. Just this week I've grown up and now drink it totally black. Mm mm mm!
Hey, speaking of bacon...does anyone know what is the American equivalent of gammon (sp?) like you get in the UK? We had some on a trip a few years ago, and ever since then, DH has kind of been obsessed with it.
Nurseries without a theme bother me. Even if the theme is "red". at least it's something.
ETA actually, no. It's not nurseries. It's any room. Especially a bedroom.
You wouldnt like my house then. I dont think there is any room in the house that has a theme, not even a color one.
My UO is probably more of a popular opinion on this board.......I think cleaning the mess that accumlates behind and under the stove, fridge, chest freezer is more gross than doing cloth diaper laundry.

It's prosciutto or also known as jamon Serrano in Spain. Delicious!
I don't like my Dr. But I am not going to drive 80 miles to find a better one. I wish I could see the ARNP or PA at the clinic but they turn you over to a dr as soon as you become an OB patient.
