This morning my husband and I left for work at the same time, but he never made it there. A car pulled in front of him while he was on his motorcycle. He's in the hospital now, multiple fractures on his spine and ribs, surgery tomorrow for his chest.
Thank god he wears full gear and a helmet. This was all at 30 mph so I can only imagine what it would have been otherwise. My third day back from maternity leave and looks like I'll be taking unpaid time again! So thankful my work is granting me whatever time I need to take care of my family.
