DS will be starting mother's day out soon, and I'm also in the process of sorting a few tubs of baby clothes to lend to a family member. I have no idea what to use. We're talking well over a hundred pieces of clothing, so individual sewn-in tags are out, even though I know they're best. A Sharpie seems like it might bleed in the wash. Do grease pencils still exist?
I know it seems so basic. I can't believe I've never had to label clothing tags before.

Re: Best pen/pencil for marking clothes
I've also used name bubbles but they are pricey.

Jenbarker - are you labeling the clothes you're lending to a family member? Have you spoken to them about it? I know I wouldn't want my kid to have clothes with another child's name written in sharpie because it would inevitably end up lost at daycare since the DCPs wouldn't know whose clothes they were.
