I posted about this a few weeks back, and some others said they had similar issues with their thumb joint.
Just an update, I finally got my steroid injection last Monday, after wearing the brace and taking ibuprofen to see if that would help (which it didn't) for over a month.
The injection was a life saver! I feel so much better and can now function without the brace, 95% of the pain is gone, and I hope it stays away.
It hurt like a beotch when I got it but I highly recommend it to others with the issue.
