And sometimes in BF technology is good

So my mom was off work yesterday and today so she came and picked DD up yesterday to let her spend the night. I just called her to see what the plans were for meeting up to get DD back home. She said "I was just on Facetime with SS10." I said, oh you were. She said that she and DD had been Facetiming SD from DD's ipod and so they were chatting and then SD started yelling at one of the boys for some reason and my mom had figured out it was SS10 and asked SD and  she said yes and them my mom asked her to call him into the room as well then he came into the room and chat with them too.

It's cases like these remind me it's sometimes a good thing in BFs for kids to have technology. My SKs were able to visit with my mom when they wouldn't normally have been able to. Of course, I interrupted it all though LOL.

    Seriously, technology (while incredibly annoying at times) is so amazing for kids in BFs.  Now that DD has texting on the ipod touch, she and K text each other a lot when K is with BM.  It makes me feel so happy that the girls want to stay connected even when they're apart, like we're doing something right   :)

    I love it! I wish more people would take advantage of technology that is at their finger tips instead of missing out on their kids. A phone call, FaceTime, or Skype are certainly better than nothing. Your mom is awesome!
