What do you eat for breakfast?

The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Sorry for all of the food questions.

Re: What do you eat for breakfast?

  • English muffin and coffee usually.

  • I used to pretty consistently eat 3 egg whites and a slice of ww toast with pb, but now I rarely have time for more than a bowl of cereal, which I am already pretty much shoving down my throat.
  • Coffee, sometimes a light snack like granola or a banana.  It depends on if I will be running that a.m. or not.

  • ViSalus shake, chocolate, usually.

Sometimes I actually do real cooking and make waffles or something, but whirring a shake in the blender is WAY easier.

  • Right now I am dieting hard core.  My go to breakfast is egg whites, a slice of toast and a turkey sausage patty.

When I am being gross...donuts are my go to breakfast.  I can eat half a dozen w/o coming up for air.

  • Not much at home, ever.  Once I get to work it's a cup of tea and either a pop-tart, donut, or yogurt.  I try to eat better than that, it doesn't work.  I also snack all the day long, so breakfast doesn't really need to be much at this point.  Now, when I was pregnant, it was 2 eggs and toast every morning or I'd be passed out by 9:30.

Banana and ww toast w/ Justin's chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella but better--not as sweet and a touch of salt). Also, Greek yogurt, Bare Naked Peak granola and fruit or Kashi Blueberry something cereal and milk. I've been craving almond butter and jelly sandwiches lately....I think it's the breastfeeding.

  • Greek yogurt with stuffs
I love those!  The key lime one is to die for!

My breakfast is typically a plain bagel with pb.  If I haven't go to the store and have no bagels it will be an everything bagel from Dunks with veggie cream cheese.  And coffee lots of coffee.

  • Oatmeal or bran flakes, and a big glass of water.
  • My typical weekday breakfast consists of coffee and maybe an egg or some sausage.  Or, scrapple (I know that doesn't tend to be a popular food, but I love it).

  • I'll usually eat oatmeal with a Special K shake or coffee.

  • Oatmeal. I keep old-fashioned oats at work and add some cinnamon, honey, raisins, and nuts.

  • Usually toast or cereal with a scrambled egg or chicken sausage and fruit. Sometimes just a carb and a fruit if I'm not very hungry. Always coffee.

We have pancakes every Sunday and occasionally I'll make pancakes or French toast when it's just me and A. We had cinnamon applesauce pancake this morning.

  • I just don't have time to fix eggs in the morning but I wish I did.  Mostly I just eat cereal.

  • In the summer I have cottage cheese with blueberries and strawberries. And sometimes part of DS's muffin.
In the winter we both have oatmeal. I make a big Crockpot batch of it with apples, cinnamon and crasins every few days.
  • Coffee is first priority, but after that iv try to get bowl of oatmeal or hot cereal. I mix honey into it, sometimes a little unsalted butter.

  • I just broke my long standing plain bagel with butter habit and have been trying to grab an egg burrito with veggies instead, but this only really works if I whip up a batch on Sunday night. I totally forgot/ran out of time this morning, so I ate my PB&J sandwich instead. Now I have to run out and get something for lunch.
I've totally done this.  More often when I was pg.
