I REALLY hate Facebook sometimes

If I see one more FB post about GMO's slowly killing us or vaccines causing autism, I am going to lose my mind.  Sometimes I really wish I lived about 100 years ago, before this "age of information" came about. You never know what to trust, there is so much bullcrap out there, and sadly, so many people don't realize that just because an article is "published" on the internet, it does not mean the information contained within that article is true!! UGH!!!!

    I have a friend like this.  Animal rights, pro choice, no GMO, feminism, racism, etc.  For one, much of what she shares is contradictory and for two, after so much I just don't care!

    My FIL is really into the GMO thing and is constantly lecturing me about my food choices since I am nursing. Sometimes I like to get fast food and eat it in front of him with a big smile on my face. :)

Keep your damn thoughts, opinions and parenting skills to yourself and stop making me feel guilty with every little thing I do. Ugh why am I still friends with her.

    It's just so ridiculous. I try to eat healthy, I don't eat out much, we cook at home often, try to follow the basic food groups LOL- but it's gotten so complicated! I'm just trying to provide healthy food for my family. 5 years ago I thought I was doing that by throwing a bag of boneless, skinless chicken breast and some frozen broccoli in my grocery cart and maybe using a coupon to help pay for it! Woo-hoo, mom of the year! Now, it's practically criminal if you even shop outside of the organic store...and if you do, you'd better read those labels!!!
