This seriously bugs me

So DH and I don't have Facebook, but I do have Instagram so I can share pictures with distant family and friends without having to email or text every pic. Anyways, DH is slowly getting into it and I was sitting with him while he was accepting or denying people on his IG and I realized one reason why I hated Facebook....why do certain women feel the need to take so many SELFIES?? Yes, most of the time they are the really pretty women that I just want to punch in the face because as I heard once before Facebook and IG to these women are just their "highlight reels" but like come on now! Some women, I see there pictures and it's like 90% selfies. I might have like two on mine. The other 98% are pictures of my kids, or me and my kids, or DH and the kids. I don't get it. Is it just a need to get compliments?

    A friend of mine takes the same selfie, everyday, making the same face, the same pose and it always says something about her shitty life. SO annoying.

    I've got one of those too. And the angle is never a good one. Ever. Always complaining about her job and life. So annoying.
