Where did everyone go?

I'm rarely on here anymore just because this summer has been so busy, but every time I log on, it seems less and less people are left. Where did everyone go? I was never part of the Facebook group, did people defect and form another? Just curious-I plan to contribute more when I have more time, but that might not be until fall. I hope the board is still active then.

I have noticed that there was a surge when the FB board was closed then people started to disappear again. I have a feeling that there is another FB group but who knows.

I think most peeps are just busier now because teh babeez are highly mobile and like to try to find things to poison themselves with, run off of, or bump into all the time. That's my deal anyway. Also I'm trying to do more pushups and ab wheel rollies. So I can stop being a blorpy mc blobberson.

If there's another FB group, I didn't get the memo. I highly doubt it. No one has time to make sure everyone legit gets included.

Agreed, Aggie McAggerson. We've been feeding/chasing/changing the bugs, cleaning house, making meals or working out!

I've been forced into occasional lurkdom.

It has been quiet. I know a lot of people were still having trouble with TB mobile site after their big switcheroo and gave up. It's sad. I miss how active this used to be. Damn Bump trying to be all high-tech and better! Boo!

I try to post more but it happens when D is taking a nap. When he sees my phone he usually grabs it and throws it across the room. I think that's his way of saying "pay attention to me mom!"

It's gotten busier for me at work since my co-worker left me high and dry so I don't get to hop on TB as much. I've been up to my neck in patients. Today- morning off! YAY!

Between work, attempting to party plan (which isn't even happening), and trying to spend any extra time with J... I've cut back on internet time. Plus, nobody's ever on when I get home from work at 1:30am.

I'm crazy busy getting ready for DD's birthday party and DH has been working some 11 hour days lately. So, it's been a whacky mc busy party over here at my house. I try to post at least once a day still but my laptop crapped out completely and I hate staring at my phone iPhone screen 24/7.

This is my situation too. My husband has been doing 12 hour shifts, sleeping during the day and whenever Kate sees the laptop she hightails it over to mash the buttons. I'm lucky if I have time to balance our checking account once a week. Plus, she quit napping more than an hour a day. And that's on a good day. Yesterday her one nap was 25 minutes.

This is us exactly! DD woke up at 8:15 this morning and I've tried to lay her down for her nap twice already. She's up in her pack n play right now and I can hear her laughing and talking to herself. I may be making pot #2 of coffee real soon.
DD is the reason my laptop crashed, lol. She loved to hit the buttons and would bring up screens I had never even seen before.
I get headachey after too long on my phone though...which makes my bumping time limited.

I've had DD and DSS to entertain. DSS just went back to school today. I'm also writing up a manuscript, starting my dissertation, and working part time. I get on when DD is napping because I'm trying really hard to spend the time I have with her focused on her. In a few weeks, DHH is the SAHD and I'm the one out of the house to collect dissertation data and such. It took everything I had to not lay in bed and nap with her instead of emptying the dishwasher, washing bottles, folding laundry, and starting another load. Speaking of which... *Sigh*

I'm back to work at a job where I can only post during breaks. I think that the combination of summer vacations, party planning and more mobile babies accounts for a slower board.

As I get closer to starting my FET cycle it will be more appropriate to post on the SAIF board.

I used to get on with each of my 7 pumps a day, but now that i'm pumping less, and DD is way more active (and likes to play with the laptop keys) I just don't have as much time anymore.

and i'm actively trying to get back to work now. when I go back I won't have access to TB at work (except maybe on my phone) but as i'll be on probation the first 6 months, no daytime bump for me when I go back.

I have just been swamped with life. I try to get on a couple of times during the day, but A has been napping less, I have wanted to nap more, and TRYING to prepare my house for his birthday party which some days is more successful than not. Also this last week trying to spend as much quality time with DH that I can since our relationship has been struggling some. All of this on top of my baby trying ever so hard to walk, and teething molars it is about all I can do to just breathe. lol.

I got pretty weirded out by all the requests BBJ got sbout the fb group from randoms who follow our lives on the board but never post and it wasnt clear whether they even had a child. I also have a lot of clients with kids in the same age range and it was a reminder of how much of my personal life can be accesed. I'll still post using incredible discretion but more sparingly. Im also up for FB friending from kmow allies.

I hopped on last night for the first time since like June lol! We were gone most of June for remodeling our house, then tons of vacation time in July, and now I'm trying to plan DS2's 1st birthday and DD's 5th birthday (they're 4 days apart lol)... It's getting close to crazy time for sure!!

The only reason I have free time this week is because DH is working a TON. Having 3 LOs is insane. Awesome, but total chaos
