First ear infection :-(

So DD, on her 7 month birthday, I take her to the doctor because she is just not herself.  She is a very happy little girl, and on Monday (7months), she is very distraught as I take her out of her car seat, inconsolable, and just breaking my heart.  Because this is NOT normal, I take her to the doctor to find, low and behold, she has a horrible ear infection in her left ear.  Which of course I feel like a horrible parent because I didn't notice it earlier.  The Dr said that's normal, because she was so calm, quiet, and happy.  She has had a day and a half of antibiotics, and is my normally HAPPY girl.  Sorry just had to share, it broke my heart that she was not feeling well and I didn't notice earlier.  Fortunately, she is much better now.  Sorry, just had to vent and share...  thanks for listening.

    My daughter was home sick with her first little stomach bug yesterday. Poor little thing. It was terrible to see her hurting, but it gave us lots of quality snuggle time!
