why am I on bed rest

I'm 30 weeks with no complications.  My Dr is out bc his little girl was just born.  I saw a different Dr who put me on bed rest only 15 min up 2 times a day....I'm so confused....the only thing she mentioned was she could feel baby a head during my exam....maybe she thinks its too low....anyone got ideas...I should have asked but I was too busy trying to figure out what i was going to do w my 10 month old
After three miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy we are currently pursuing adoption. " Born not from our flesh, but born in our heart. You were longed for and wanted and loved from the start."

  • Call and ask, no one here can tell you. You need to know what your risk factor is and what to watch for.

  • I agree with previous poster. You should call and ask why. They won't put you on B/R especially that strict for no reason. Hopefully you wont need it because its no fun especially with a little one. Been there done that myself. GL

  • I'm sorry!  That sucks, but for sure call and ask for clarification.

If you have a family member or friend who is retired/out of work who could stay with you, that would help tremendously.  My MIL stayed with me for two months before the girls came and for a couple weeks after they came too.  I wasn't allowed to pick up my son for 3 months before they were born.  I could deal with the not picking him up because he was older, 21 months, and a good walker, etc.  We just did things to make it easier, like took the front of his crib off to convert to a toddler bed, but your's is so little!  You'll definitely need to get some help.  I really needed it once I was on bedrest.  That just added a whole new dimension.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
