Hunter Update

So, Hunter is doing really well. His pneumonia is cleared up, and he gets his last dose of antibiotics at midnight tonight. His heart rate is sinus bradycardia, which is just a slower than normal resting heart rate. We are in the NICU still but in a parent room, so he is able to room in with me for the first time tonight!! Very exciting/scary - no one is going to call me to tell me when he needs to eat! But I know he will let me know. He'll come back in a week for a repeat ECG, as there was one thing that showed up that they want to double check, but it is 99% probably artifact.

He is a little piggy and is up over his birth weight already. I am dealing with engorgement, but it seems to be slowly getting better.

And! The best news! We're going home in the morning!! Yay!

Once I'm home, I should have a chance to finally catch up on you all. Congrats to everyone who's had babies that I've missed! I hope no one is still waiting.
